Metroid Prime 4 Still in Development

A new game in the critically acclaimed Metroid Prime series is currently in development for the Nintendo Switch system. Though no release date has been set, Retro Studios and Nintendo are collaborating on the project.

Nintendo has been relatively tight-lipped about Metroid Prime 4 since rebooting development with Retro Studios in 2019. Questions linger as to whether the game will remain exclusive to the Switch, or if it might also be released on other platforms.
According to industry insider Jeff Grubb, assets for the game may be ready by May 2024. This suggests that the game's development is progressing steadily, and that fans may be able to get their hands on it sooner than they think.
